You will not be disappointed with this rod, it has incredible pulling power and casts like a dream. Have had mine for 1 year now and cant fault anything. Rock and surf fishing is very enjoyable with this, you can scratch for blue fish and handle bigger bruisers with ease. I have pulled some sharks too no problem.
