HI have been a none spinning reel fan all my life and tested many reels and rods from other companies i can safely say this is a amazing reel loaded 30lb DNA Braid it throw extremely well and can hold big fish when necessary . i have the 8000 it has an incredibly good drag system with good pulling power . In the rocky areas it has not problem to glide over the rocks when pulling .I highly recommend it and last of all very well priced .
