The Shimano Aerocast Spinning Rods are produced in a large range of lengths and casting weights. Shimano has in fact remodeled its Aerocast range with these new and exciting AX models.
 
The new range is made with HPC (high-pressure carbon), making it up to 40% stronger and more responsive. The grip has been changed from cork to a very ergonomic EVA grip but has retained top features such as the Fossil Wood reel seat and Fuji guides.
 
These unique rods are produced with an oval cross section. This special construction gives the rods a stiff side and a soft side. When you cast, the rod is fast and deliver outstanding precision and distance. When you hook a big fish simply turn the rod on its side and the action magically change from fast into parabolic playing action to ensure you land the largest of fish.
These rods have beautiful minimalist cosmetics and use Fuji guides and fossil wood reel seat. The cork handle is made by the famous durable Power Cork.
